Firstly, we have extended the competition entry date until 31st October to give everyone enough time to enter a photo into our Wildlife Competition.
The competition has received significantly fewer entries than last year so we would like to clarify exactly what can be classed as a ‘Wildlife Photo’.
We are making the competition as general as possible to allow as many people as possible to enter so by ‘Wildlife’ we mean most aspects of nature. We want the focus of the competition to be wildlife so pictures of trees, plants, animals, birds and fish are all great. However we do want the photo to clearly feature wildlife i.e. a picture of the pike with a bird flying in the background wouldn’t be classed as a wildlife photo.
All photos must also be taken locally: so around the Rivington, Winter Hill, Chorley, Bolton, Belmont areas.
The competition is free to enter and the winner will receive their picture enlarged to canvas courtesy of Mathers of Lancashire Photography Shop in Bolton who also have some OFFERS running in conjunction with this competition.
Hopefully this post has helped to answer any questions which you may have had about the competition.
It would be great if you could shares this page using one of the Facebook or Twitter buttons.
